    Hi Carole,

Price just sounds to good to be true.
I have a photo of my Carol and me that I like very much. Taken in 2002, 10 years ago. It's the best picture we ever took together. It was taken for our Church directory at the church with a solid backdrop.

Can you do solid background at our home?
Can you or do you touch up the photos if required? (Blemishes and such)
    What is your time frame?
    Maybe we should talk.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I usually do outdoor locations and spend about an hour with the client. The client then receives all the images edited on a disc within 2 weeks of session. I like to capture the "posed" and also candid moments. I also look for the artistic way of capturing the family or subject. I enjoy getting to know my clients so I can better serve their needs. I like to bring along any specific props they might request.
For newborns, I can have specially made knit hats and props made at no extra charge as long as enough notice is given for booking. Photography, besides my children, is the love of my life!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advice is to google family, wedding or newborn photography or look at pictures on Facebook. Get a feel for what style photos you like. Look at what people are wearing, scenery, everything! Get ideas to also share with your photographer, hopefully me, so I know what you want. I always ask my clients what they are looking for and give them that and then some. I put my spin on things too. Check out what is out there so you get what you want. Also you get what you pay for. Some people charge $25 for session and DVD. Well I'm guessing they just started and they are learning. I can't stress enough, research who you are hiring. Ask for samples. Check their website. Do they even have a website?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What I like most about my job is capturing a memory that could hang on someone's wall a lifetime. I take that seriously. Some events that I photograph are one time events that you can't do a retake on. It's my job to get things right so the client has the memory forever. I love my job and all aspects from start to finish. Photography, to me, is the only job for me. I do not see myself doing anything else. I love learning new things I can do with my camera or in the editing stages. I am always learning and improving. I like that it changes. It's not doing the same pictures over and over. I get to meet new people with new ideas and do something a little different every time.
