FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I usually do outdoor locations and spend about an hour with the client. The client then receives all the images edited on a disc within 2 weeks of session. I like to capture the "posed" and also candid moments. I also look for the artistic way of capturing the family or subject. I enjoy getting to know my clients so I can better serve their needs. I like to bring along any specific props they might request. For newborns, I can have specially made knit hats and props made at no extra charge as long as enough notice is given for booking. Photography, besides my children, is the love of my life!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to google family, wedding or newborn photography or look at pictures on Facebook. Get a feel for what style photos you like. Look at what people are wearing, scenery, everything! Get ideas to also share with your photographer, hopefully me, so I know what you want. I always ask my clients what they are looking for and give them that and then some. I put my spin on things too. Check out what is out there so you get what you want. Also you get what you pay for. Some people charge $25 for session and DVD. Well I'm guessing they just started and they are learning. I can't stress enough, research who you are hiring. Ask for samples. Check their website. Do they even have a website?
