This is achieved through working with a client in a partnership to make their home reflect their values and needs. Less about perfection and more about pulling things together to give that lovely flow of cohesion….I have access to fabric, furnishings, rugs and art. A workroom is at the ready to make any and all types of pillows and window coverings… from a simple room refresh to a full house makeover we are here to help you fall in love again with your home. I have access to many trade accounts so if the client purchases through me I can get them a discount.

I was looking for someone who could help tackle my really old home that badly needed updating. I needed some inspiration and creative solutions at a budget. Alternative interior designers seemed out of reach. Amy responded to my request quickly and just after 1 hr of consultation, had proposed brilliant solutions, reassured me that my home was foundationally sound and painted a clear path forward. Throughout the execution of the plan, she was constantly in communication with me, and we brainstormed together to solve any problems that came up. I ended up redesigning most of my entire house because I was so inspired by her. Amy has impeccable taste, an out-of-this world memory and is all around a delightfully creative person full of can-do energy. I would give her 10 stars if I could because she changed my life and inspired me to do so much more than what I ever planned to do. My home feels welcoming now, somewhere I am proud to show off, and has been a refuge for me and my children. Thank you Amy!

We highly recommend the design and decorating services of Amy Mink! We have utilized her services for almost 20 years, and she has decorated and redecorated our house several times, and we love her ideas and execution. She also worked carefully and in an integrated fashion with our architect and kitchen/bathroom designer on our oceanfront vacation home. We frequently get complements on how beautiful the color schemes are and how everything flows perfectly together! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
That I am not intimidating or judgmental. I fundamentally love people and want them to have a happy relationship with their home We can work out a budget because like most things in life there are top, middle and lower tiers of pricing …. If someone wants curtain panels for 100$ or less there is a market for that. I work with the clients reality
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I’m a good listener. I take notes and encourage client to keep special pieces. I work with family treasures and artifacts… but help them to achieve an updated fresh look
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many art courses in scale, color theory, art history, and textiles. My Mom was a seamstress and my Dad was a builder. They were DIYers back in the 60’s and taught me so much!
