Hired Mr. Appliance to service my refrigerator ice maker after I failed to diagnose the problem directly with LG. After Mr. Appliance inspected the refrigerator for 15 minutes and calling LG themselves directly, I was told I had to install a water reducer on the water line in order to fix the issue. Mr. Appliance quickly collected his service fee ($105) and said a plumber would have to install the reducer. Anyone with the basic knowledge of household maintenance understands installing a reducer is a quick a simple task. When I questioned the service tech about completing the job, i.e.- installing the reducer, I was told they don't carry them in stock and they require a plumber to do the work. Being in the business of appliance repair, and naming your business Mr. Appliance, and caveating the need to hire a plumber for such a simple task, is an absolute joke. Instead in completing the job, which would take an extra 10 minutes, they shuffled out with the diagnostic fee of $105. I have had them come out and repair 2 appliances recently. 5 Stars all the way. Gary has done most of the repairs and now he has Roy with him. Everything is working great they are super professional and just the people you want making the repairs. Also it was very easy to setup the times to have everything done. I will be calling them the next time I need a repair. Also I hope it Gary and Roy who do the work. Gary showed up and was professional. He estimated what he would need to fix the refrigerator and the office called with updates on the day he was supposed to come back. He arrived with parts and now our office is happy to have a fixed appliance. I even recommended Mr. Appliance to our building management for other tenants.
