So glad I hired a professional to capture family portraits and our daughter's baptism! I'll admit I was on the fence b/c everyone has cameras on their phones these days, but everything from our first contact down to receiving the proofs, I knew it was the right decision. Lenny was accommodating and easygoing with my last minute planning and lack of preparation. I'm thrilled with the photos...I would hire him again without hesitation!
Neil is the one!!! He was superb:). We were looking for a photographer to photograph 22 grandchildren, and 5 couples, as a large group and as individual families as well. The children range from 8 months to 17 years. The average age was 8 years old, mostly boys - imagine the noise level and energy in the room!!! Neil kept his cool, didn't get nervous the entire time. He laughed with the kids, he kept suggesting different shots and ideas and didn't stop snapping till the session was over. Pictures came out REALLY nice, and we now have over 250 shots to enjoy. We will definitely book Neil again, and I suggest anyone else looking for a photographer, book Neil without a second thought.
hank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a beautiful job you did to make our day so special. It was magical; even more that we both could have imagined. To this day everyone is still speaking that it was the wedding of a lifetime. The sampling of photos you sent were fantastic! Exactly what we were looking for. Portraits, candids, black & whites.....you did it all. It makes us so excited for the rest that are yet to come. You were a blessing to work with. We are so happy you enjoyed yourself as well. You have a job that is so rewarding as you help capture one of the most special days in a couples life. The photos tell the story that we may replay in our minds over and over again. The day went so fast I often say I want a redo......looking at the photos you've taken will do that for us. Absolutely Amazing! We will definitely use Michael's services and so will our family and friends.
If you are in need of a photographer, in the NYC area, and want someone that is not only very talented, but also a pleasure to work with, then Rick is you man, and I'll tell you why. I got engaged in early May, and I hired Rick to take some candid photos of the events as they day unfolded. Grand Central Terminal is where I chose for the engagement to take place, but since I live in D.C. and was be traveling to NYC for just the weekend, there was no time to meet with Rick for an advanced walkthrough or to even put a face with a name. Needless to say, there were a lot of variables at play and I was a little stressed trying to coordinate all of the details. That is where Rick came in and set my mind at ease. I would guess that this was not a "normal" job or request for Rick, but he made time to speak with me on the phone and plan out exactly how the day would play out. On the actual day of the engagement, we met in Grand Central Terminal, for the first time, and Rick did an amazing job capturing candid shots, as well as staged. Anyone that has ever had professional photos taken knows that the time between the photo shoot and receiving your images can sometimes feel like an eternity. Well, with Rick it was literally less than 1 week. My fiancée and I barely had time to travel home and before we knew it there were images on Rick's Facebook page, a link that Rick provided us so we could see all of the images and share them with friends and family, and a CD with high resolution images that we have since printed out and they look great! My fiancée and I could not be happy with the final product, and personally, I could not have asked for a better or more professional person to work with. Rick, thank you very much!
Bradd is amazing both in skill and temperament. He came to my home fully equipped with lighting equipment, lenses, and (obviously) cameras. That was expected. What makes him unique (talented) is his eye for setting, highlighting the different themes I requested. Bottom line, he knows his job; he is a great photographer; but there is a lot of competent picture takers out there… what makes Bradd unique is talent.
My husband and I hired Alessandro for our wedding on 10/15/16. We had a 250 person wedding outdoors by a lake. After having several photographers tell me it would be extra for an outside venue, or extra because of the amount of coverage I would need for a large wedding, I was happy to see his Thumbtack page. Alessandro's pricing was upfront and had no extra hidden fees or costs. This lead me to look at his website. It was filled with absolutely gorgeous photographs. He offers quality photos for a reasonable charge. I requested additional information and unlike some businesses on Thumbtack he messaged me back right away. His communication and willingness to help meet all my all of my photo needs for the wedding was more than I could hope for. We met at the venue for him to look around at the size of the venue, it was 50 acres, and he immediately started taking photos of places that he thought would be great places for photos to be taken that day. The morning of the wedding he did a shoot with both the bridal party & the groomsmen. The photos came out amazing. He captured my husbands humor in photographs in a way I didn't think possible. He encouraged them to be themselves, not force them to pose in a specific way. The photos he took of myself and the bridal party were absolutely perfect. They were sweet and beautiful. The poses we did were some classic and a few were his idea. During the ceremony and reception Alessandro was all over the venue. I had expressed my desire to not just have photos of My husband and I, but of our friends and guests. I wanted not only poses but candid shots as well. Everyone I have shared the photos with love them. I don't usually write a review like this however I truly love his work. He began sending me a few photos a day to look at days after the wedding......yes, days after the wedding not weeks or months. Our biggest problem with Alessandro's work is picking which photos to put in our album and which to blow up and hang on the wall. He was liked by all my 250 guests, they all told me after the wedding that he took so many photos with them, that they felt even a part of the wedding because the photographer wasn't just focus on the bride and groom. In the end, all you have once your special day is over will be the photographs. All in all if you're looking for a phenomenal photographers for a very reasonable price please give Focus by Alessandro a try.
Evelyn took the pictures for our 10th Annual Ladies Tea to benefit the Mary Kay Foundation in Oct 2015 and she did an outstanding job of capturing the special moments of our event! She even donated her time since it was a fundraising event!
Eugene, was a great photographer. He spent the entire day with me, no questions asked, from location to location, continually snapping all of the memories on my special day. He is willing to take all types of photographs. He had both a camera for color and one for black and white photos for you to choose which one you like best.
Eric Bauer has helped me numerous times with my photography needs. I even by happenstance purchased some of his black and white landscapes for my getaway cabin because its gorgeous.
Alessia did our family photo shoot and we absolutely LOVED her! She is very personable and comes up with pose ideas right on the spot. We only could afford a half hour, so she snapped 300 photos in that time! We were amazed! She also edited 100 photos, gave us some black and white and sepia versions, we were so grateful! Highly recommend her! Thanks Alessia!!!!
As a previous studio owner, I am centered on producing intense portraiture in black and white and color on location.
