This company is 100% a scam, poorly operated, terrible communication with clients, and Carmen Prete is a liar. They were contracted through Thumbtack to remodel my hallway and stairwell. They asked for a 40% deposit up front which was given for the hall renovations and for doors to be replaced. He went missing for an entire day with no contact to even his own employees. Showed up with a baby mamma story as to why he could not respond to a his client. When the dry wall sanding was done he did not properly cover his work space so dust went everywhere in my home. He had another story as to why he couldn’t finish the work in my home. And request a payment deposit that was foolishly given. He has not returned nor has he answered my calls. CL Restoration stole my money and did complete the work. Legal action needs to be taken. Avoid this company at all costs.

Carmen is nice at first to gain job and trust...he is a liar does sloppy work and the project is incomplete....all the shelves he was suppose to install are all loose by the brackets and shelving was never secured..all his work is horrible and he is a total LIAR!!!! Do not hire this contractor if you want good work DO NOT HIRE CL RESTORATION....he disappears in middle of job and makes excuses to why he did not ndwer phone and was unavailable all that day...he claims when he leave he has no money ad would ask if you could transfer some cash to his account....he always late to your project.....I would give no stars but could not do review unless I give a star
