- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are typically project based. I do not bill by the hour as our profession traditionally has done; as it is an outdated method that is no longer appropriate in this age of technology.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I like to learn about my prospective client's background, specifics regarding the scope of the work, and what their expectations are on timing and communication. Once I have sufficient info I am able to provide them with an estimate of my fee & determine whether or not that works for them. From there, we decide on how to proceed that is most comfortable and convenient for my client, i.e. would they like to work virtually or prefer face-to-face.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take 40 hours of continuing ed a year, as well as reading daily professional updates.
