CAD Design On Time
About this pro
Working in the medical field attention to detail is of utmost importance. I would not design anything that would not be good enough for my own family to use. My desire to get the job done correctly is my motivating factor No two design criteria are the same. I have to think about every detail when designing. Its a challenging field that rewards itself with product development, in a 3D representation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? From a young age, my parents helped me figure out what I enjoyed in life. Watching my mother, who was a jewelry maker and teacher, I learned about the detail that went into her design. My interest led me into the engineering field where I found my true enjoyment in CAD design
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have designed medical instruments for clients in the orthopedic and upper extremity fields. I have also worked with a company that specializes in customer branding and made nameplates and decals
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?Given strict restrictions for spacing within a drug delivery system. I was able to design a module that held approximately 50 screws which varied in diameters and lengths. Weight was a big issue as well, so the material being used in the design had to be relatively light but absolutely sturdy
