I found Alex on Thumbtack after looking at his many great reviews. I message him on a Sunday and he responded immediately. He came by to look at my boiler the next day and recommended me to replace my boiler, after he saw that my boiler was from 1972. He was very transparent by saying that he can replace the pressure pump (my pressure pump was bad and not pushing water to the radiators in my back room) but being that the boiler is over 50 years old that replacing the boiler will make the most sense. Then I won’t have to worry about it for 15-20 years. He also recommended fixing the vent/repair chimney. Alex and his team were available to do the work two a days before Thanksgiving but I opted to have Alex and his team to start the Monday following Thanksgiving. The day of install, Alex and his team came by got the work done and cleaned up after themselves. They are very professional and the price is fair. I would recommend Alex’s Company and definitely use them again.

Alex with great to work with and saved me a lot of money! Another contractor said I should replace the central AC for $5000 when all it needed was a coil cleaning and 1 lb. of refrigerant for $500 total. Alex is honest and quick to respond. Get harder to find good contractors like this!

Alex did an excellent job! From the time I contacted him, to the time he arrived (very respectful to the property, he has work boots/shoe covers for when he's inside the house) and diagnosed the problem, he was very straightforward, especially about how much it is going to cost us. He gave us a heads up and what to expect and even suggested to check if we still have a warranty to save on this repair. He is very detailed and always have a ready explanation about everything you think you would want to ask. Its very hard to find an honest technician/repair man as we've checked with others and have concluded to an immediate replacement of unit that will have cost me tens of thousands dollars without even doing the necessary inspection like he did (I believe he has all the necessary tools for the job). My brother oversaw what was happening during the evaluation and the repair but I didn't see it personally and forgot to ask to take a picture of the leak so I can show our builder. Instantly, Alex has told me he took pictures of all I need. It is very important to a client to be given information even when not asked to and not be blindsided and told at the end of the repair that the repair will cost the client much more than what they're willing or afford to pay. I am also at peace that even though I haven't tried to use the AC again since the repair (its still cold this week), that we have a year warranty for the specific job done/repair. This company is more than highly recommended 👌 I don't know if I've missed anything else, but you dont need to look any further!
