i believe that my love for what i do shows in my workhaving styled all but one of my own shoots in my portfolio, i am truly committed and excited to the ideas and images that i create. i also specialize in black and white imagery; a less common aesthetic that still remains loved by the masses, but less widely practiced by professionals. i love that i am continuously finding other creatives whom i collaborate with, who are so remarkable in their own field of expertise (hair, makeup, etc), who elevate our images to a level i could never get to on my own skill set. i also love that i'm always meeting new people, finding new talent, and having really genuinely creative moments with people who, in some situations, were mere strangers to me hours before.

After we fell in love with Allie's style during a couples session, we came sprinting back for newborn portraits after the birth of our baby. And, oh boy, did she deliver yet again! Allie was prepared, patient and FUN to work with, even while handling a fussy newborn. Allie Brown's style is refreshing; dripping with class and a quiet confidence. While many possess the technical skills required to be a photographer, Allie Brown has the 'it' factor so many photographers can only dream of. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I quiz my clients with many of the questions in the above question, and create a proper quote with the breakdown of fees and potential fees. I include info on licensing rights, and how clients will receive their files. After my client see & approves of the quote we move forward and find a date to start shooting & planning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A BFA in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew I wanted to major in studio art in college, and initially was a painting major. I took photography as an elective with absolutely no excitement going into it, and ended up finding something that was more fulfilling (creatively, and emotionally) than I could have ever imagined.
