My name is Sar (pronounced: S-aerh) & I am a Certified (CPDT-KA / CGC Evaluator) Dog Trainer & Behavior Specialist practicing Force/Fear-Free Science-Based, Positive Reinforcement methodologies with 10+ professional years working with professionally with dogs of all sizes & temperaments, in addition to a lifetime tending to, caring for & learning to train/work with beloved family dogs. I regularly & actively continue field education in accordance with LIMA & latest methods of practice related to psychological/physiological research, husbandry, nutritional & therapeutic practices - such as holding a Canine CPR/First Aid certification, attending annual Dog Behavior Conferences, lectures, seminars, course opportunities & completing additional certification requirements to receive the title of VSA-CDT through The Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training & Behavior. Sar is an incredibly gifted dog trainer and animal handler. I have personally witnessed them work with dogs and cats in front of me - both their own pets and my pets. They truly understand the needs, emotions, and thought processes of both species of animal. Their talents really shine when they are given the opportunity to think outside the box and find creative solutions for behavior problems. Their energy is joyous and positive, and watching their approach to training feels synonymous with watching an enthusiastic kindergarten teacher educate their students. They have their CPDT-KA which is the highest form of accredited dog training certification and requires a tremendous amount of hours of hands-on work as well as book studying. They're the real deal. I cannot recommend Sar enough.

Sar has worked with my chihuahua/jack rusell terrier mix, Rhiannon since she was 4mos old! Sar has played a huge role in the development and demeanor of my little girl. Rhiannon learned many commands from working with Sar such as, sit, spin, paw, sit pretty, and off, to name a few. Sar has also dogsat for Rhiannon and when she's spending the weekend with Sar I'll know she is being taken good care of and being offered plenty of enrichment opportunities. I can't think of someone better to recommend for a pet-trainer than Sar.

Sar is a magical being with animals and taught me so so much! My aggressive little gremlin is night and day better. I've found that positive and reward based training works so much better than traditional training AND improves the overall demeanor of my anxious dog.
