- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quarantine and Social-distancing sucks. You can still make money selling products online if you have the right images. Email me with the details of your product, quantity, number of images you’d like per item, and approx. budget. Once we sort out the price and contract (including return shipping costs), ship the items you want photographed to me. I will shoot them, retouch the images, send the images to you, and then send the products back to you. I will be offering discounted rates for the first few customers. I can offer plain white background clean images (Amazon / catalog style) or something a bit more creative with color backgrounds, patterns, and stylized. It’s really up to you and your selling platform. Images perfect for Ebay, Amazon, Etsy, poshmark, patreon, or your company’s website and social media. hirethisphotographer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we identify what the customer is looking for and then find the package best suited to their goals. In some cases I can customize pricing to the customer if it's a product shoot or multiple subjects (like headshots for a whole office). The next step would be the customer paying the Online 50% deposit or setting up a meeting face to face (usually for weddings) to go over the details, make the deposit. Then we brainstorm or discuss any goals depending on the type of shoot. I shoot a wide range of subjects from weddings and newborns to products, events, food and fashion models, so every client is unique and is treated that way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years experience shooting fashion, products, advertising, events, models, head shots and portraits. I have about 6 years shooting weddings and families. I am new to the market's of shooting children, newborns and pets. Every shoot is unique and every shoot borrows from skills acquired from other genres. Creativity and professionalism are key.
