- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am flexible with my pricing based on type of event, hours spent photographing and in post-production. As a guide, for photographing a bar or bat mitzvah, including 2 hr portrait session, 4 hr reception, jpg images, and a large custom album is about $1,800-$2,100. Or photographing a 3hr. event with jpg images is about $400-$550.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to what the client is planning and hoping for. We either meet in person or talk on the phone. I make sure I understand the details, then I send a written proposal. I keep open to what the client wants until the last photo is taken.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in photography from the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. I began my career as a photojournalist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Almanac Newspapers and the City Paper in Wash., DC. I learned advanced Photoshop at University of the Arts.
