FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is fair, transparent, and based on the scope of work outlined in your estimate or contract. All costs are discussed upfront, and no work is performed without your approval. No hidden fees: Pricing includes labor, materials, and standard installation costs as specified in the contract. Insurance work: For insurance-related projects, pricing is based on the approved scope of work and settlement terms. Any changes required by the insurer or homeowner are discussed and approved before proceeding. Change orders: Additional work outside the original scope requires written approval and may result in additional charges. Discounts: Any promotional discounts or negotiated pricing will be clearly reflected in your agreement. Payment terms: Payment schedules are outlined in the contract and align with project milestones or insurance disbursements. Our goal is to provide high-quality workmanship with clear, honest pricing, so there are no surprises at any stage of your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
What is your typical process for working with a new customer on a home remodel? Initial Consultation We begin with a conversation to understand your vision, needs, budget, and timeline. This includes discussing design preferences, functionality goals, and any concerns you may have. On-Site Evaluation & Measurements We schedule an in-home visit to assess existing conditions, take measurements, and identify any structural, electrical, plumbing, or code considerations that may impact the project. Design & Scope Development Based on your goals and the site evaluation, we develop a clear scope of work. This may include layout recommendations, material selections, and sequencing of the remodel. Detailed Estimate & Proposal We provide a written estimate outlining labor, materials, and timelines. All pricing is transparent, and any allowances or optional upgrades are clearly identified. Contract Approval & Scheduling Once the proposal is approved, we execute a written contract and schedule the project. Permits and inspections are coordinated as required. Pre-Construction Planning Before work begins, we review logistics such as material delivery, access, work hours, and protection of existing areas in your home to minimize disruption. Construction Phase Our licensed and insured team completes the remodel according to the approved plan, local building codes, and industry standards. We provide regular updates and communicate any needed adjustments promptly. Change Orders (if needed) If changes arise during construction, we document them in writing and review any cost or timeline impacts before proceeding. Final Walk-Through & Completion Upon completion, we conduct a final walk-through with you to ensure the work meets expectations and address any final items. Warranty & Ongoing Support We provide warranty documentation for workmanship and materials and remain available for post-project support. Our goal is to deliver a well-organized, transparent, and stress-free remodeling experience, from concept to completion.
