Derek is easy to work with. He is flexible with the ideas I gave him and was willing to work within my budget. He added his touch to the logo design I sent him as an example. I ended up choosing his design. He listened to my ideas and added his own. However, if I didn't have something already in mind, I'm sure he would have given me something I liked as well as he is creative and knowledgeable. Again, he is really easy to work with and I will definitely reach out in the future when my business gets going and more branding needs arise. Thanks, Derek, for all your help.

Derek did a phenomenal job creating a custom Slideshow presentation for my wedding speech as a best man. We had graphics, mapping slides, a slow photo reveal, etc. Any request I submitted he was able to create it. The speech was an absolute hit at the wedding and I’m truly grateful for all his help.

Derek was extremely professional and creative in all his meetings and in presenting solutions to our team. We were very impressed with his grasp of our needs, especially since he had no prior experience working in our sector. He was able to listen to our project, follow the logic of what we wanted to present, and provide excellent feedback - all this before he even designed a thing. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to offer a flat rate up front which is based off an assumption of the hours it will take to complete a project. This is an estimate I will detail for you to review and accept. If I personally work over those hours, then that is on me. I include a round of revisions in our original estimated flat rate. After the first round of revisions, then I will start charging hourly for the following rounds of revisions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The goal of my process is to familiarize myself with your needs, what you're hoping to achieve from the design work, and most importantly the story of your business or project. I interview and question my client's to make sure we are on the same understanding, then I will complete a first round to present. From there we will discuss what is and is not working. We won't be finished until you're fully happy with the work!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Arts & Design (2014)
