About
I run a two-person furniture assembly and local moving crew in Philadelphia. Assembly is what I do every day: IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, Target, Home Depot.
No manual? No model number? Not a problem. I put these pieces together every day and rarely need the instructions.
I also do local moves and move-in setups, studio up to five bedrooms. Truck, tools, blankets and padding are all included in the price. If you have already booked your own truck, I can bring just the crew and the muscle.
Just moved in? I can do the whole thing in one visit. Move what you already have, assemble the new, take apart the old, and haul away what you're replacing. One trip, one day.
I level every piece, tighten every bolt, and take the boxes with me when I go. Every review I've received is 5 stars.
Send me a photo or a list of what you've got and your ZIP code, and I'll give you a price today.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Assembly is one flat price for the whole job, never an hourly rate. You know the cost before I start, and my 1-bedroom move-in setup package starts at $249.
Moves are hourly: $129 an hour for two movers with the truck, blankets and padding included, or $95 an hour if you have already booked your own truck and just need the crew. Three-hour minimum on moves.
Holiday lighting is $63 an hour per worker, with a 2-hour minimum. Most jobs need 1 or 2 workers, and I'll confirm how many before we start.
Send me a photo or a list of what you have and your ZIP code, and I'll give you a price the same day. I take cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You send a photo or a list and your ZIP code. For a move, tell me the floor and whether there is an elevator at both ends. I give you a price and a time slot the same day. On the day, I text you in the morning to confirm, and again when I'm outside. The truck, tools, blankets and padding all come with me. When the job is done I check every piece is level and tight, and I take the boxes with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No classroom for this one, I learned it by doing it. Hundreds of pieces from IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, Target and Home Depot. Once you have done enough of them you see how much repeats across brands: the same cam locks, the same dowels, the same drawer runners. That is why I can build a piece with no manual and no model number on the box. The rest is having the right tools and taking your time, and I bring both.
