FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do for clients revolve around maintenance, cleaning perennial beds and trimming the plants within, and pruning and trimming trees and shrubs. Adding additional plants or shrubs to a landscape to complete or complement the existing design. Mulching and leaf collection and removal.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Major spring clean up for a first time client in Bala Cynwyd, about one acre in size. Extensive existing perennial beds, multiple flowering trees and shrubs filled the property. Project involved clean up of all of the beds, removal of leaves, dead plant growth, cutting back and pruning perennials, pruning and removal of dead wood from flowering trees and shrubs, relocation of some shrubs and blueberry bushes to more appropriate light conditions, trimming of edges all beds, and mulching of all beds. Extensive removal of ivy gone wild. Minimal lawn repair. 32 hours, $1250.00.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be very specific about what you want and if you don't know, be honest and ask for guidance. Have a budget for your project in mind and share it with your designer early on as it truly defines what is possible.
