Elementary mathematics tutor.
I am a 3rd grade teacher at a Quaker School in Center City. I love teaching math! I make it fun and when it's fun, it's easier to understand. I specialize in the Everyday Mathematics (University of Chicago) Program. I also work with Singapore Math, Envisions, go Math and Investigations Programs I have been teaching for 11 years. I have been tutoring for 11 years.
I really enjoy teaching math! My specialty is exposing students to various ways of learning math. When I see how a student learns after offering various strategies, the path to success is an easy one.

Craig was my daughters math tutor over the summer. My daughter, who was in 3rd grade at the time, was having a difficult time understanding math and therefore falling behind. Craig made math not only understandable but fun for her as well. She went from disliking math to having a good understanding and not being as frustrated while doing her homework.
Here is my daughters point of view:
Tr.Craig will explain till you get it and explain it in different ways (Including different math games). He also lightens the mood a bit and you don't get as frustrated.
We highly recommend Craig as a math tutor!
