Working with Kia is such a refreshingly lovely and fun experience! I hired her to take shots of my artwork and from my first contact to the end of the Photo Shoot, Kia was the consummate professional. Her work approach is friendly, down to earth, and accommodating. She explained everything about the process and was welcoming of all my questions. Kia eliminated all the fear & dread I had about the whole photo shoot process and I'm excited that I now have a photographer I'll be utilizing whom I both like and trust to shoot my artwork! Thumbtack only allows 5 Stars so I give those 5 but Kia is for sure a SOLID 10 STARS!!

If I could give this photographer 10 stars, I would! I am the owner and founder of a small independent fashion brand based in Delaware. I had been looking to find a good photographer who I could work with regularly for shooting my products with live models. I had talked to other indie brand owners regularly and had heard enough photo shoot disaster stories to make me cautious. I was nervous that the cost would not result in the type of images my brand would be able to use effectively. I had grown frustrated in my search after reaching out to a number of local photographers who seemed irregular in their communication or follow up. A friend told me to check Thumbtack. I would have never considered using this site; I thought it was for finding plumbers and carpenters! I am so glad I tried it because I may have never found Kia Caldwell otherwise. Wow! What a wonderful outcome! I could not have hoped for a better experience working with Kia. She is professional, punctual, organized and an extremely talented photographer. I was able to speak with her about the goals for brand imagery, color and the narrative of the campaign, before we scheduled the shoot date. I was concerned about working with a mix of models that included experienced professionals and inexperienced first-timers. Kia and her assistant did a wonderful job helping the models get comfortable. Her easygoing manner helped bring out their personality to the benefit of picture and the brand. What has stood out to me most is Kia's ability to get excellent photos in just about any setting indoor or outside. The resulting photos were spectacular and we wrapped up the shoot in less time than I thought we would need. I could not be happier with the outcome and plan to continue working with Kia and her team for future shoots.

Miss kia was a very professional photographer in aspects of providing me with tips to make sure my first headshots came out perfect. She puts time into her work and effort I don’t think I can find anywhere else. Hands down a very reasonable photographer who understands struggles and is able to work with me as a young client. She puts her heart into her work and it shows in the photos and studio!
