For the last decade, I have maintained a private voice studio of children and adults of all ages. I have over ten years of proven teaching experience and have been performing my entire life. Whether you, have been singing your whole life or are just getting started, I can help you figure out how to start realizing your goals. Are you prepping for an upcoming audition? Are you an adult looking to get back into music? Do you have a child that absolutely loves to sing? Or maybe you just want to learn how to read music or feel confident singing along with the radio. Katie is a skilled voice and piano teacher. It has been difficult for me to find a voice teacher who actually plays the piano...thank goodness I found Katie! I have been singing for years and I needed a strong vocal coach to help prepare me for an audition that required me to learn a challenging song. With Katie’s patience and enthusiasm she helped me learn a piece I was totally lost on. I’ll definitely go back to Katie for future lessons!

My 12 year old daughter absolutely loves taking lessons with Katie! Emmy has always been shy but loves to sing. Ever since she started lessons last fall, she has gained so much confidence and she is becoming less and less nervous to sing in front of us. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our first lesson, I will focus on getting to know you, your voice and musical background, and personal goals. From there, we will discuss the types of music and repertoire you most enjoy working on. I usually offer several selections from which you can choose what you would most like to work on. If there is something you have always been dying to sing, I'm always open to considering your suggestions as well!
