- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am friendly, detail oriented, honest and realistic.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we talk over the phone to discuss the customers needs, budget, design aesthetic, and schedule. Schedule a time to meet so measurements can be taken if they are getting a DAW Fashion Design Original or if they have an idea in mind to be created. If the work is for alterations or repairs we meet to assess the work needed. A deposit is required at that time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Philadelphia University (formerly Textiles) to perfect my skills. I started making clothes when I was 7 years old. And I began making prom dress and dresses for others when I was 13 years old. I did an apprenticeship with a local fashion designer as well as various other projects that helped me hone my skills.
