FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fee’s are based on the scope of the project and the services requested. Costs can range from $350 - $3,500.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon initial contact, a guide containing our pricing and services will be provided. At that time, a rough estimate will be submitted based on the type / complexity of the project and any additional options chosen. Once interest is established in hiring EDS Drafting Services, a Service Agreement will be assembled for review. Upon approval, a signature and deposit will be required in order to schedule the project. Next step would be for us to schedule to come out to the site where construction is to take place. At that time measurements, photos and documentation will take place as well as a detailed discussion of the project. Once all of the information is received, the drawings begin. You will be sent, via email, some rough plans along the way allowing us to perform revisions where necessary. When we receive your final approval, you will get a digital copy and / or a hard copy to submit for a permit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
EDS Drafting Services maintains a degree in Carpentry which included residential drafting. EDS also currently holds a PA State Certification issued by the PA-UCC as well as 10 additional state and national certificates in construction codes.
