FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am semi-retired. I have stripped all office overhead to become cost effective to people who could never afford me in the past because I honestly love designing houses for people. I work for $75.00/hr. If you included office overhead, it would be twice that price. Preliminary design sketches are at no cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can have a preliminary solution back to a customer within 2 days if they can supply me with 4 things related to field information: a Site Plan, pictures, a plan drawing of any existing structure and a wish list items to be incorporated in the design. We go back and forth using a computer until the customer is satisfied with the preliminary design. We attach the sketches to a one-page agreement to get started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's degree from Penn State University. City Planning degree from the Academia de Firenze, Florence Italy. 50 years of professional practice. I've designed some of the largest projects in the Pittsburgh area. But now I'm ready to go to work for you.
