FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches out, we start with a quick conversation to understand the event details — date, location, type of event, and the overall vibe you want. From there, we recommend the best band size and style to fit your needs and budget. We’re flexible and can easily scale from a small jazz duo to a full band with horns and vocals, depending on what works best for your event. Once we agree on the details, we provide a clear quote and a simple performance agreement so everything is locked in. We’re happy to work with you on song requests, special announcements, or unique touches that will make your event personal. As the event approaches, we stay in touch to confirm logistics, arrival times, and setup needs so that on the day of the event, everything runs smoothly. Our goal is to make the process stress-free so you can relax and enjoy the music.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients — from couples planning weddings and families hosting private parties to companies organizing corporate events, fundraisers, and holiday celebrations. We’ve also performed for community festivals, restaurants, and special themed events like Mardi Gras nights and 1940s swing dances. Whether it’s an intimate gathering with background music or a large event where the goal is to get everyone on the dance floor, we’re experienced in tailoring the music to fit the occasion and the crowd.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers should consider a few key things before reaching out: Goals & Vision – What kind of experience do you want? (ex. background music, lively entertainment, dancing, etc.) Budget – How much are you comfortable investing, and what’s your ideal range? Timing – What date, time, and length of service do you need? Location & Setup – Where will the event take place, and are there space or sound restrictions? Style & Preferences – Do you have favorite songs, genres, or a mood you’d like to set? Special Requests – Any announcements, toasts, or unique elements you’d like included? Thinking through these details helps professionals give you the most accurate quote and ensures the event fits your vision perfectly.
