FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew I had a knack for computers when I was asked to teach my 9th grade computer class. My first computer was a Commodore VIC-20 that burned up after coding for 6 hours straight. Even in college when I was studying for my accounting degree I spent most of my time in the computer lab tinkering with VAX scripts, surfing GOPHER and playing MUDs. I've always been the guy people come to with computer problems, television recommendations and advice on which cell phone to buy. I can configure your car stereo, VCR and television without looking at the instructions.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I typically handle software problems such as viruses, spyware, adware, malware, performance tune-ups and diagnostics. I also install RAM, hard drives, video cards, network cards, power supplies and peripherals.
