FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my pricing straightforward. Private parties start at $795, corporate and community events start at $1,095, and weddings start at $1,595. The final price depends on the date, location, number of hours, guest count and equipment needed. Additional time is $175 per hour. Ceremony sound starts at $300 and uplighting starts at $400. You will receive a written quote showing exactly what is included. I do not add surprise charges after you book.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I learn about your event, including the date, location, number of guests, schedule and the kind of atmosphere you want. We then talk about music, announcements and any important moments you have planned. After that, I send you a clear quote. Once you book, we work on the music and timeline. Before the event, I confirm the important details with you and the venue. On the event day, I arrive early, set everything up, test the sound and make sure I am ready before your guests arrive.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my training comes from hands on experience with music, sound equipment, event planning and working with guests. DJ work involves much more than playing songs. It requires learning how to read a room, use microphones properly, make clear announcements and keep an event moving without making it feel rushed. I continue improving by practicing with my equipment, learning new music and reviewing every event afterward.
