Introduction: As an experienced photographer, I can shoot a building in the best possible way. As an experienced photo editor, I can provide the straightest (no tilt) edits in the most timely manner. Interior windows show as they do in life (not whited out). I also have two photo strobe lights that allow me to accurately shoot interiors with full window views intact. Setting my own hours based on what clients need - on location or in my studio - and the sheer satisfaction of successfully capturing with the camera what the client has asked for.

Philip A. Maye has done a very professional job photographing many of the architectural and decorative details of our church, Calvary Episcopal in Pittsburgh. As members for over 40 years, we knew we wanted to bring a piece of our church into our home. Working closely with Phil, we selected three of his photographs a wood carving of St. Michael, the chapel reredos, and a stained glass window, each 30x15. With the assistance of his excellent framer, Deidre Howard, Phil was able to deliver the finished pieces under a very short time deadline. Although we bought the photographs for our apartment in Pittsburgh, we were so pleased with the result that we brought them to our home in Florida.

Phil took numerous excellent photos of Calvary Episcopal Church in Pittsburgh. He has done both details of architectural features and grand shots. In each of them, he has a clear sense of the capturing its essence. He also created the perfect lighting for each which is incredibly difficult to do in the space. Phil took a complete set of photographs of a whole house project that my company built in Oakmont, PA. In very hot weather he conscientiously photographed every angle and view of this house, paying particular attention to revealing the materials and creating compositions that showed off every aspect of the architect's design. Because of his own architectural knowledge, Phil was able to discern the important details of the house, and he even returned the next day to make sure he'd covered everything. Great quality photographs!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For real estate professionals, my going rate is 25 photos for $90, and I judge anything less than that by whatever percentage of that rate the job is. I am flexible and can lower my rate for someone who has a smaller budget, as many do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Keeping active and shooting a wide variety of work keeps you on your toes. And keeping your camera up to date helps.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed taking photographs; I finally made the decision to do this work full time.
