- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive considering I'm by myself most of the time so not too much overhead. However quality work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good so think before you pick someone with a really low price there's a reason they're lower then everyone else.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been in construction all my life. My father and uncles would take me on jobs and teach me how to do a lot of different things. I've always loved building things I like the challenge of making something from nothing.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I did a whole room remodel for a nice older gentleman. I ripped outdated paneling and moulding off also tore out the ceiling and carpet. I moved a wall out to expand the closet to provide more storage space. Had to hang, finish and paint new drywall. Also installed modern floating floor throughout the room and closet. The whole project from start to finish was about two weeks.
