Yes, to maintain my National Board Certification, I must complete continuing education courses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I became interested in martial arts, always had an interest in science and medicine, and loved learning about other cultures. I tried acupuncture treatment for a knee injury, and quickly discovered that it could help with so much more. Acupuncture helped to alleviate anxiety and better manage stress. I decided to switch careers and go into acupuncture in order to pass these benefits along and educate others about the efficacy of this style of medicine.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
