FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spend a good deal of time reading about hiring and resumes. Also, once commissioned, I research industry specific hiring practices to be sure that your products serve you best.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most people come to me for resumes and cover letters. I meet with each client for a free consultation to discuss career history, future directions, personality, and rich experiences unrelated to work. From there, I am able to stitch together past experiences and skills with future goals in order to create documents that are dynamic and authentic. I have also been commissioned to build LinkedIn profiles, professional biographies, and curriculum vitae.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A current resume client (current arson detective & bomb squad member) emailed me seeking additional assistance applying for a position. Aside from the usual, he was asked, âIn 150 characters or fewer, tell us what makes you unique.â I asked him to tell me some interesting non-work-related tidbits. He responded that he was a champion ping pong player, makes mean pierogies, and played Santa in school. Hereâs what I wrote âIâm a bomb slayer, crime scene surveyor, known to don Santaâs suit. Iâm a gumshoe bloke with a mean ping pong stroke and pierogi skills, to boot.â
