This is me in a nutshell.
Bob understands the challenges many of us face obtaining and sustaining not only a healthier weight and fitness level but also creating a positive body image and improved self-confidence. In his youth, Bob was overweight and out of shape despite playing various sports. As Bob reached his early 20’s, he struggled with his body image and became very self-conscious about his appearance. With a desire to improve his appearance, Bob started working out on his own at home. As his confidence grew, he stepped out of his home and into a nearby fitness facility. With added attention to nutrition, Bob saw even more success, but he soon began struggling with consistency in his own exercise and nutrition regimen and the weight loss and fitness gains halted. In 2017, the struggle with consistency faded away when he met his workout partner. Since finding his own workout buddy, Bob has consistently trained 5 to 6 days a week, lost 50 pounds and has improved his self-confidence significantly.
During this journey, Bob was working as a Certified Nursing Assistant but he knew he was ready for a career change. Recognizing how exercise and nutrition improved his self-confidence, appearance, and overall well-being, he developed a strong desire to help others experience the changes he had. His supportive wife encouraged him to follow his dreams and become a personal trainer. In 2016, Bob earned his first certification, becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
Since becoming a personal trainer, Bob has continuously expanded his knowledge and skills related to health and fitness. In addition to personal training, he has extensive experience as a group fitness instructor, and has run boot camps and strength training classes including Les Mills Grit, TRX, and speed and agility clinics. Bob loves to see his clients succeed and encourages them throughout their health and fitness journey.
Bob currently maintains certifications through ACE, Les Mills, and TRX.
