- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know that my pricing for the Homeowner Construction Estimating includes: 1) A breakdown of Materials Needed 2) A spreadsheet with editable formulas 3) A breakdown of Labor Cost 4) A breakdown of Material Costs 5) A Gannt Chart with Estimated times for Tasks 6) Basic Info on How to negotiate the project price 7) A working knowledge of the scope of work for your project(s) 8) Basic 2D Drawing If needed *If you want a small commercial project estimated on-site, we can do that to. The same would apply here-in.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical Process differs depending on weather you want a virtual or in-home estimate. 1) For our In-Home estimates we schedule a time that works for you to meet at your home to go over the project(s) 2) We discuss the project and take measurements 3) We decide on major components for the project(s) (i.e. tile profile, LVT profile, Hardwood type, Standing Seam or Shingles ect...) 4) We discuss how you will attack the project (i.e. Doing it yourself, Hiring Subcontracts, Hiring General Contractor) it makes a difference. 5) We process your request and workup a detailed breakout of the project costs and details and even where to procure materials. 5) We provide a Gannt chart based on your Tentative Start & End Dates 6) We then do a Google Meet or Zoom to discuss your project to make sure you have everything you need. 7) We Send all information over to you 8) Use our pricing to negotiate with the contractor or do it yourself *We will guide you in that process
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
1) We have over 17 Years of Experience in the Building and Finish trades in the residential, Commercial & Industrial trades. (This gives us a very detailed working knowledge that benefits you) 2) We have over 12 years of experience estimating both small and large projects and skill sets. 3) We can read blueprints. We do onscreen quantity takeoff & estimating for small to large projects all over the U.S. & Canada 4) All of our estimators have a working knowledge of the trades hands on and in the estimating industry 5) We have worked in Project Management, Gannt Charts, Construction Budgets & Costs, Spreadsheets, scam protection and more!
