We had 3 toilets that needed the parts replaced and our kitchen sink faucet replaced. He did an excellent job on all items and they are working to our satisfaction. Professional, kind and courteous. He quoted us $75 but charged us $95 which seemed a little surprising to us since one toilet didn't end up needing parts replace. But still we would have tipped him that much anyways so just be sure you confirm price before he starts. Things can change depending on the labor involved of course but know these prices ahead of time.
Ken (owner) and Jamie (office manager) were quick to respond / accommodate and get the job done, as we were ready to put our house on the market. Our project was not an easy one and they were confident in their abilities to perform the work, unlike many other contractors we requested quotes from, ultimately sealing the deal to hire them. They were reasonably and competitively priced for the scale and difficulty of our exterior painting project. Our house would not have sold as quickly if it had not been painted. We feel some of the workers paid a little more attention to detail than others, and we did have to ask them to return for some touch up work, hence 4 instead of 5 stars. But Ken was very responsive and corrected our concerns. We would recommend and use them again.
On time, went to get material and came back quickly, very professional, friendly and most important very fair in what he charge for labor.
Charles is by far the most excellent contractor we have ever used. Bar none. He designed and implemented the construction of our new kitchen. He either DID every single aspect by himself, or oversaw anyone who came into the house. Floors to ceilings! Anytime we discussed something and my husband or I would say, "is it possible to maybe do???" He found a way! When we decided it was time for a new kitchen, we never expected to get pretty much everything we wanted, and more. But we did. Not only is Charles's workmanship extraordinary, but he himself is THE most respectful and considerate of any workers of any kind we have ever had in our home. And believe me, when no one in our household is DIY, and we've lived here 30+ years, we have had to deal with lots of workmen! Our original idea was to change old cabinets, countertops and appliances. But with the questions and suggestions of Charles we ended up with a major remodel. He understood our greatest desires in a kitchen. And so we were able to get our dream kitchen. We are so very pleased with the kitchen results, we really really want to remodel our game room with the help of Charles of Parham Design. Soon.
Refreshing to meet a contractor who understands and uses technology. I used Dwayne to consult on the proper configuration for my sink & disposal. It gave me problems for years. He evaluated it and proposed new piping. It seems much better although I'm only on day one. Price was reasonable. Labor and parts was below $150. Wish I had done with the first problem! Expert advice is hard to get. Dwayne was the first to see that the pipe direction was wrong. Thank you.
Josh did an outstanding job on placing my TV's on the wall and saving counter space. He is very efficient, neat as a pin and gave me a very fair price for his labor. I have highly recommended him to friends and neighbors.
Requested a ballpark figure to repair the stairs and railing used to access my basement. Mr. Kirby responded quickly and with an almost perfect approximation of the final material and labor costs. Once he scoped out the project and talked with me about the specifications, I gave him the go-ahead to begin the work. The price, timeframe, and quality of craftsmanship were all to my satisfaction. Mr. Kirby is an excellent carpenter who does good work. I support Mr. Kirby's business by letting others know of the positive experience I had when I hired him to do this job.
I hired R&W Tradesmen LLC to move my 'heavy' items. In comparison to other quotes, R&W Tradesmen LLC provided full disclosure in comparison to competitors who never divulged hidden fees. My sister used a competitor and also received quotes which later revealed hidden fuel charges, hidden labor fees, and other hidden fees but only after multiple calls. The quote I received from competitors resulted in less $ per hour on the initial quote, but never included hidden fees. Initial service by R&W Tradesmen LLC resulted in an in-home quote to review contents of my home. A professional quote was emailed later that day. I received proof of insurance, which was reassuring. On the day of the move, Phillip and Justin were thoughtful and planned each and every move before picking up furniture. They were professional and did not rush or damage anything. They moved my $1500 executive desk that weighed over 500 lbs. perfectly from one location to another. I am thankful for their professionalism, cautious demeanor, and the value/cost of their service. I recommend using R&W Tradesmen LLC for moving service, but am also interested in snow removal, lawn care, and other services.
I posted an ad to Craigslist for what I thought was going to be flashing repair to a chimney, turns out the entire side of the roof I could not view was in terrible shape. Needed to be replaced. MGC contacted me and I recieved a bid from them and about 5 other companies. What sold me on what they do is I paid for my materials with no markup and labor cost was well in line with industry for my area, but the hook was the ability to communicate. Gema and Scott know that communication is the fabric to weaving a good business and a solid deal/experience for the customer. I have already reffered them to a close family member as well as having them back to do a 4" plumbing stack conversion from cast to ABS. The job they did on my first roof was outstanding work and super clean after the entire roof was torn off. 14 sq of shingles later its beautiful. They also capped a pigeon box that flashing had come off on and secured the gutters better as well as cleaned them out. I own 12 rental homes at this time and I KNOW I will be using them again in the future.
I hired c and c handymen services to repair an egress window that we noticed had water seeping in. Roy Yeagley (owner) was able to determine the source of the leak. The window was not properly sealed when installed, and the repair involved redigging around the window, removing all the rocks and soil by hand. They then had to put tar sealent on, and replace everything. This was a very labor intensive job that had to be done in hot, humid weather! I am very pleased with the work and in fact have hired them to do another job! I definitely recommend him. Great work ethic and great price as well! Michele T. Bethel Park
