Hired DJ Garvo for our kids dance birthday party. He was extremely polite, professional and brought a great set-up for the event. The music choices were spot on and kept everyone dancing. He even brought a light show which was a nice added touch. Afterwards kids and adults in attendance gave a nice ovation for his entertainment and surely will be getting referrals. Thanks for being part of the day.

We hired DJ Garvo for our wedding and overall it was a great experience. We loved the lighting that was used and he used a lot of the music we asked for. The only thing I think that could be done better was there was too much dinner music and not enough regular dance music. Overall DJ Garvo did an awesome job!

Garvo Music & DJ Service was an excellent value for the price. We loved how the uplighting was included and he worked with us to play music that we wanted to hear during different parts of the night. We provided a playlist for the dinner portion of the night and songs we wanted to hear for the dance, then he added other songs we may like based on that. Communication was a bit difficult, needing to email a couple of times before a response. (Brides-to-be planning their own weddings have a lot on their plates, so a response after one email is expected and appreciated so they don't have to continue following up. It may not seem like a big deal, but can create added stress.) Also, inclusion of an MC (ie: the DJ announcing the wedding party, cake cutting & that it's time to get on the dance floor) was going to cost extra. We thought that was pretty strange, so we just had my older brother do the announcing. All-in-all everything worked out great! Thanks for a fun night!

Thanks for the review. The evening was fun and your guest had a wonderful time. Sorry to hear you felt the communication was a bit difficult, but as discussed during the hiring process, communication would be limited but increase within 30 days of the event. Also, you selected the basic wedding package which does not include MC/host or up lighting services. I did offer you the option to upgrade to a package that included MC/host services which you declined. In addition, I did include up-lighting services at no additional. GMDJS always discuss with each client about their music preference. Having clients fill out a music planning sheet helps with creating a music playlist that you and your guest will enjoy. What clients adds to the music planning sheet is always up to you. Again, you and your guest had a wonderful time all evening. I have some great videos clips of everyone dance throughout the reception. Best,
