Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: It is done right the first time, only after having all* details discussed with customer. I find it to be a very satisfying way to make a living. First, I make sure that customers are comfortable with me before any work takes place...No customer wants to be to be halfway into a project only to realize he or she has made a huge mistake. Second, I take pride in the work I do, which I feel customers notice right away.

Christopher provided an extremely competitive rate for a flooring job. He was quick to respond and was able to squeeze me in on a weekend since I was in a bit of a time crunch. Prior to starting the job, he picked up the supplies needed and communicated any questions. Upon meeting Chris, he was professional and easy to work with. He quickly and thoroughly finished the quoted job within the agreed upon time frame. Because his expertise was so vast, I quickly asked for his availability over the next few weeks as I had many other projects. He and I worked out a schedule in which he was helping me out during the evenings. He was extremely accommodating and his work was exceptional. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any project I had,  whether it was flooring, plumbing, electrical, painting or general contracting. Not only did he do amazing work but he showed up on time, his prices were competitive and he went above and beyond the task at hand (like cleaning up and picking up supplies).
CRC Contracting's reply
Thank you for taking the time to write a positive review; often customers only write reviews when there is a problem, so it's awesome to hear such great feedback.

Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

We hired Chris Cassidy on April 21 to rescreen our covered porch. He said he would do the project on Monday, April 25. That never happened. On Wednesday, April 27, he contacted us by email to say he was sorry he did not rescreen the porch on the 25th, but that his wife had a "health" crisis. After that email, Chris scheduled several days with us to rescreen the porch. He cancelled all of the scheduled times because of rain, even though the porch is quite large and covered with a roof. He last scheduled Monday, May 9 at 9 a.m. for the screen project. It was a sunny day. We have neither seen, nor heard from Mr. Cassidy.
CRC Contracting's reply
Due to inclement weather during the previous two and a half weeks, I was in contact with the customer to reschedule but was never able to secure a new date. Upon being hired, I offered to pay for materials out of my pocket in order to offset the cost for the customer. I had mentioned to the customer that I recently had a new baby and that my schedule may be a bit sporadic for a few weeks, but he seemed to be understanding. The customer also acted as though this project was not an immediate rush. I was quite surprised at this review as I thought we had an agreement. I had quoted them a rate of $300 which was significantly lower than any other quote they would receive. As mentioned, due to the inclement weather and my schedule, I was trying to nail down a new date when I received this review. I can assure any new customer that I am always available via my cell phone and email and, once we secure an agreement, I will provide the service negotiated. This particular situation was a fluke--between the weather, my newborn and this customer's own situation.
