To begin, I am not one to post reviews. But this was service worth commenting on. Jose finished a drywall project that my husband I had started in our new home (and then just ran out of time to complete). He was fantastic. He came to give me an estimate within 24 hours of our first contact, gave me a more than reasonable bid on the job, talked me through what he would do (even explaining how he would touch up some of the things that we--non-professionals--had done a little wonky), and left a very good impression. He gave the bid on a Friday, started work on Tuesday, and our room was finished on Wednesday afternoon. He even went the extra mile and pulled up the plastic we had put down, VACCUUMED the dust, and put down a fresh layer of paper and plastic (because we contracted him only for application of the first 2 layers of putty). I have nothing but positive things to say. He was very professional and comes with my highest recommendation!

Jose Portillo with Above and Beyond Renovations built us a master suite. We hired him because of his competitive price and short time from of only three weeks. From my initial meeting with him for the estimate, he was very nice and seemed to understand what I wanted.

Very pleased with the work done by Jose and his crew. They were friendly, professtional, and very conscientious. They worked overnight so they didn't disrupt operations in my restaurant and left everything extremely clean.

All I can say is WOW! Jose was responsive from the first inquiry up to and including the final work. The job was well planned and executed. He maintained a respectful environment, and kept things nice and tidy. I was very impressed with the final outcome. The business owner is contemplating have him do some work at his home and with a potential move to a larger location the company will likely use his skills again in a new location. You certainly cannot go wrong with the price and the product.
