FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At State Floors, we believe pricing should be transparent and straightforward; no surprises, no hidden fees. We offer free in-home estimates so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins. Our pricing reflects over 50 years of craftsmanship and quality. We work with a wide range of budgets and will always walk you through your options, from entry-level to premium materials, so you can make the best decision for your home and investment. We stand behind our work, which means we'd rather give you an honest price upfront than cut corners to win a bid. What we quote is what you pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to make flooring easy, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. 1. Free In-Home Consultation: We come to you. One of our flooring specialists visits your home, takes measurements, and listens to what you're trying to achieve. We look at traffic patterns, lighting, existing décor, and your lifestyle before making a single recommendation. 2. Honest Recommendations: With over 50 years in the business, we've seen what holds up and what doesn't. We'll show you options at multiple price points and give you our professional opinion — not just whatever has the biggest margin. 3. Detailed Written Quote: You'll receive a clear, itemized estimate so you know exactly what you're paying for. No vague numbers, no last-minute add-ons. 4. Scheduled Installation: We work around your schedule. Our installation crews are experienced, professional, and treat your home with respect. 5. Final Walkthrough: Before we pack up, we walk the job with you to make sure you're completely satisfied. We don't consider the job done until you do.
