Very pleased with Bob and his crew. After two years of being jerked around by various contractors and friends who said they could "easily do this" we finally found RM Paolino Construction.
Bob met with us on a Saturday and gave us a detailed estimate with some great cost-saving design changes for our kitchen and bathroom. We signed a contract that following Friday and by Monday morning our bathroom was gutted and on its way.
What a relief it's been to deal with a real contractor after all time we wasted with other so called "professionals". Bob has kept us up to speed every step of the way and the bathroom looks great. Can't wait for kitchen to start.
Highly recommend RM Construction to anyone looking for a professional, full service contractor who won't give you the run around!
Details: I have sketches and/or a basic idea of the project • Kitchen • Bathroom • Replacement of portions of existing structure • Less than 500 sq ft • Residential

We hired Bob to demo an odd room with a roof that was built in the middle of our loft. He’d estimated that it would be a two or three day job. As demos go, it’s hard to tell exactly until you get into it. Unfortunately, the structure was built to withstand a hurricane and was a much tougher job than expected. Everything was excessively nailed and had to be pounded out piece by piece. Yet, Bob finished in two days with everything hauled to the dump and the work area cleaned.
He was on time and courteous and worked around my schedule. Before he could do the demo, we had to have the sprinkler system rerouted, and Bob was very accommodating with our start date. A hard worker, and I’d highly recommend him.

.RMPaolino Construction was contracted to remodel my unfinished basement and install baseboard heat throughout my house. Mr. Paolino and his team did an outstanding job planning and accomplishing this difficult job. The work was scheduled so that it caused me very little inconvenience and all phases of the job were completed on schedule. All of the work and construction materials were of professional grade, and the overall price tag was more than reasonable. I intend to hire Mr. Paolino to do other work on my property. Because my house is 114 years old, many adjustments and accommodations had to be made in order to accomplish everything I wanted. Nevertheless, Mr. Paolino worked around all of the obstacles and got everything done that I requested. And it looks great. I highly recommend his services. The overall project included the items listed below.
1. Cleared the basement of all junk and debris.
2. Removed the old boiler from the basement and 12 radiators and pipes throughout the house.
3. Removed all of the old steam piping, old excess electrical wires and unused gas lines running through the basement.
4. Removed all artificial walls, ceilings and floors throughout the basement.
5. Installed a brand new modern boiler and enclosed it with walls with sliding doors for access.
6. Installed baseboard heaters throughout the three-story house.
7. Replaced numerous copper water pipes with fiberglass pipes and insulated the copper piping that was not replaced.
8. Replaced seven basement windows with new windows.
9. Restored the worn brick walls of the basement
10. Framed the entire basement and installed insulation.
11. Installed and painted dry wall throughout the basement.
12. The electrical circuit box was replaced and electrical and cable ready outlets were installed all around the walls. The electrical circuit breaker, gas meter and water meter were enclosed in a small room with an access door.
13. A utility area was created on a raised platform where a washer, dryer, and sink were installed.
14. The basement floor was covered with an industrial strength carpet.
15. A drop ceiling with large panels with embedded florescent lights was installed.

Mr . Paolino has from the start been very prompt responding to my emails and answering questions. Once we settled on the first project that needed immediate attention, which was my leaking roof, he was here first thing in the morning and completed the work that day. It was just done recently but from what I can see, he has done a very thorough, neat and sound job and I'm very pleased with the results. I plan to continue using his company for several other repairs my aging home needs. It's a pleasure to have someone who can handle all repairs, upgrades and even remodeling instead of searching for individual contractors for these different areas of concern. I would say that anyone can expect to receive services from a man that takes pride in his work with the results, speaking for themselves in quality Yet he also cares that he has satisfied the expectations of his customer's request and needs.
