- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My private lesson rates are: $50 - 30 min. $65 - 45 min. $80 - 60 min. I do offer a discount for students that pay monthly in advance (min. 3 lessons): $40 - 30 min. $55 - 45 min. $70 - 60 min. Travel pricing varies by availability and distance travelled.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start by evaluating a new student's previous playing experience, ability level, and personal goals. From there, I tailor the lessons to help them move steadily towards their goals and address any bigger issues that may be holding them back.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience as a full-time guitar instructor working with students of all ages, ability levels, interests, and goals. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2008 with a B.A. in Jazz Studies for guitar and the URI Award for Musical Excellence.
