FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My private lesson rates are: $35 - 30 min. $50 - 45 min. $60 - 60 min. Add $10/lesson for local travel to your home. (My travel availability varies. Just ask!)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start by evaluating a new student's previous playing experience, ability level, and personal goals. From there, I tailor the lessons to help them move steadily towards their goals and address any bigger issues that may be holding them back.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of experience as a full-time guitar instructor working with students of all ages, ability levels, interests, and goals. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2008 with a B.A. in Jazz Studies for guitar and the URI Award for Musical Excellence.
