We had a great experience working with Scott at Alpha Home Design and Consulting on plans for a master bedroom addition and deck. He came to our home, took measurements, listened to what we wanted, and turned our ideas into both 2D plans and 3D renderings.
Scott gave us helpful advice throughout the process and was always quick to make the updates we requested. Communication was easy and responsive. We also found out that our builder had worked with Scott before and spoke very highly of him, which gave us even more confidence in our choice.
His pricing was fair, and we felt we got great value for the work. We’d definitely recommend Scott to anyone looking for help designing an addition or renovation.

Scott completely reworked the layout and flow of our full home renovation, including helping us remove load bearing walls and building a large screened in porch. I was really impressive with how we reworked the space and thought of a completely new layout that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Highly recommend Scott!

Had a great experience working with Scott on my home design! From start to finish, he was incredibly helpful, detail oriented, and just an all around great person to work with. He took the time to understand my vision, offered great ideas, and made the whole process feel easy. The plans he put together were even complimented by my contractor. Highly recommend Scott for any home design & consulting needs!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Designs fees usually are a fixed price per project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll meet with the client to discuss there dreams, desires and needs. I'll then give them some options and help them decide on what the best plan may be for them. If hired, I require a 50% deposit. After I have the first conceptual drawing complete, I'll send to the customer for review and discussion. We continue this process until a final floor plan is agreed upon. After this step, I'll continue to complete the drawings and submit to engineering.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years experience in construction. Growing up, my family owned residential construction company. I was doing labor for all different phases of construction, which gave me great knowledge and insight.
I have a Bachelors degree in Construction Management and Interior Design.
I owned my own General Contracting company for over 11 years.
I am currently licensed as a Residential Contractor in SC.
