Jay Hill Construction is a treasure. DJ Price and Hilary White completely transformed a 1st floor bathroom in my 73 year-old home. What once was a very out-dated and poorly functionIng space was stripped bare. I collaborated with DJ and Hilary on the process and the details. Jay Hill Construction is made of artisans who communicate with their clients throughout the process. Budgets are prepared and discussed. If changes to the design or the budget are necessary, DJ and Hilary will include their clients as part of “the team”. There are no surprises. DJ and Hilary value their clients. It is their highest priority! They strive to give their all to create a beautiful, functional living space. My barely functioning bathroom has been transformed into a graceful, peaceful sanctuary! Every detail was immaculately put in place. If meticulous work, authentic communication and conscientious adherence to a client’s wishes are important to you, you will find these gifts and more at Jay Hill Construction. We used Jay Hill for a total kitchen remodel and addition on our 80+ year old home. Dj and his entire time are respectful and professional. My questions were always answered promptly. We were in constant contact throughout the project and never had any concerns about the team. Since our large project we have used Jay Hill for smaller home projects and we maintain a wonderful relationship. They are great people!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We turn quotes around within a week and our pricing includes a complimentary design and interior architectural services by interior designer Hilary White, co-owner of Jay Hill Construction.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial processes include meeting with the clients to determine the scope of work, help make selections of all materials, establish new floorpans if needed, and work through all of the details before construction begins to ensure an efficient project flow once construction begins. Hilary White is your main point of contact is she is very communicative and attentive to all of our clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
DJ Price is a licensed General Contractor who has been working in commercial and residential construction for the past 18 years after earning his degree in Construction Management at East Carolina University. Hilary White also has a degree from ECU, but in interior design and has been working on projects all over the country for the past 20 years.
