The founder of MCS mechanical has faithfully serviced my 'antique' AC system for years and found parts, thought up
creative solutions, & kept it running despite its age. When it started having problems recently he tried to save it, but because of its age and needing an obsolete type of refrigerant, it was not possible. He saved me a lot of money on a new, more efficient unit. Then he found some electrical problems and a tiny leak in the refrigerant line inside the wall caused by careless installation by the builder or the installer of the previous unit that others might have missed. He stayed many extra hours creativity fixing these problems and straightening out some previous sloppy work for a small fee where a larger company would have insisted on tearing out the whole line and replacing it for mega bucks and requiring major repairs to the wall. Max is a very hard worker, careful, reliable, and extremely knowledgeable in his field.

I had max with MCS come out and install a new heating and air unit, 2 months ago, and I just want to say he did an amazing job. He was very professional, was on time, and did everything he said he would do. He keep my home clean, I couldn't even tell there was work going on besides the new unit. His work is top notch, he even cam back over a few weeks later to check and make sure everything was working like it should . I highly recommend this company

I called MCS Mechanical for an inspection of our heating/cooling unit after receiving a very high electric bill. Max was able to come out to take a look at our system quickly and was great about explaining the issue after doing an inspection. Turns out we had a coolant leak from a worn down hose. He was able to fix the issue on the spot without having to make another visit. He was very nice and professional. Will definitely recommend him to anyone and use his services in the future if needed.

I you are looking for a Charleston native that takes great pride in his work then Max is your man! He did a full change out on our James Island home and words cannot describe his attention to DETAIL!
All in all everything that we discussed was very transparent from start to finish. The only thing that was surprising was the PRICE! Max did a Kiawah Island job for a James Island price! I cannot express my gratitude for the job that max has done! I would recommend him to everyone in the Charleston area for all their heating and cooling needs!
