Matt was absolutely incredible to work with as our engagement photographer. I was visiting from out of town, and from the very beginning, he went above and beyond to help me talk through my engagement plan, make sure the logistics were ironed out, and ensure everything went smoothly. His communication was excellent both leading up to the proposal and throughout the entire photo shoot.
Once it was time to take photos, Matt did an amazing job coaching my fiancée and me through everything. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but he made the experience feel natural and fun, giving us guidance that helped ensure we never looked stiff or awkward. He captured so many incredible moments, and the final photos were absolutely beautiful.
One of the things I appreciated most was how quickly we were able to see the results. Just a few hours after the proposal, we already had several of our favorite photos, and over the following couple of weeks, Matt continued adding more to our album. Having such a large collection of beautiful photos to look back through made the experience even more special.
Matt also went above and beyond when we were hit with some rain. He ran back to his car to grab an umbrella for us and encouraged us to keep it with us so we could enjoy the rest of our engagement evening without being wet. That kind of thoughtfulness really captures what made working with him so great.
The quality, professionalism, communication, and sheer number of incredible photos we received made the value absolutely worth it. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a photographer to capture a special moment or occasion. He made an incredibly important day even more memorable, and you absolutely won’t be disappointed!

Matt was AMAZING! We had a fairly small wedding, and got ready about 20 minutes from the venue. Matt showed up exactly on time to my apartment to get gettin-ready photos, then he not only helped me get myself to the car without messing up my dress, but he also carried the bouquets for us and transported last-second decorations in his truck (on top of entertaining my chatty grandfather and easing my anxiety). At the venue, he gave me a last minute pep talk before our ceremony, which was gorgeous, and then helped us direct everyone outside for photos. He was constantly encouraging me and my new husband during our photo session, and kept checking in with us while we were eating and mingling with our guests. I ended up sick with anxiety and we had to speed up our night a little bit, but ALL of our guests said that Matt did a fantastic job with our DJ to keep the party going, and I CANNOT wait to get back the pictures from after our send-off!
I could not recommend Matt enough. From his professionalism to his easygoing attitude, he is just an all-around amazing guy. I just know these pictures are going to be perfect!

Matt was fantastic to work with! My husband and I did a beach session with our dog, and the entire experience was wonderful. He had so many great ideas for poses and captured a perfect mix of candid and posed shots. He was also incredibly patient and great with our dog, which made the session fun and stress-free. We absolutely love how the photos turned out and couldn't be happier with the experience. We highly recommend Matt!

Matt did a fantastic job with our engagement photos. Planning an engagement for someone who has an inkling about everything let alone getting a surprise photographer to capture the whole thing was a nerve wracking experience for me, but Matt made this so easy for me and our special day. He was extremely responsive and always answered my many questions in a timely manner. He was receptive to any change I wanted to make and had no issue when there was a change in plans. The day I proposed, it was 30 and windy (despite the spring weather) and Matt came prepared with hand warmers and a jacket for my fiancée when we were going between shoots. He truly put my fiancée and myself first. We weren’t too sure on specific poses, but Matt worked with us for each type of picture. It was the most seamless process I’ve been apart of. He is creative, responsible, and truly one of a kind. He got us a sneak peak of our pictures just 12 hours later and had all of the photos for us within a few weeks. He would continuously update the album - it was truly an amazing experience. He was honestly the best and I would recommend him to anyone. I even considered asking him to come back up north for the wedding because he was just that great.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is dependent upon the Job. How many people, the locations being used and any additional materials needed for job.
I do offer a referral program for future discounts on bookings!!
In all my services the following is included:
Finished Collection / You will receive all of the enhanced photos and portraits to remember your day forever digitally via Flash Drive and Online Album.
Your Own App / We will provide you with your own App available for Apple or Android Devices that lets you easily view and share.
High Resolution Prints / Friends and Family will have exclusive access to an online albums of photos which can be purchased in multiple sizes and to meet all needs
Online hosting of ALL images. This is included in your service. ALL High Resolution files completely free of copyright.
I'll go through everything we capture, remove all the blinks, duplicates, or oops photos and then edit everything we have left over and give them to you. This is much different than any other photographer. Everyone else will limit to a certain number of pictures, or charge separately. I include them in the service, and you deserve to have all of the memories you can!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to get to know the new customer, hear their ideas, see any examples of what they would either like to create or replicate as I want to capture their feelings in the images.
I am a fan of collaboration and being open with clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience working with Individuals, Couples, Kids, Families, Small/Medium/Large groups of people in various events such as Birthday or Anniversary parties, and Corporate Events.
I have also worked with people who requested Travel Services or Destination Photography for those who want to capture Landscapes or specific locations.
