FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the quality of work, the fast turnaround, the equipments and softwares I use, plus my time. My prices are industry standard which means they are within the average threshold.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process includes understanding the vision of the client. We are all creative people even thought many of us do not recognize it. Bringing out the creative intuition of my client is important for me to produce a work they will love forever. Then, is the scouting for locations. I love to have options in one place. For example the city has many possibilities within a short walk. However, the beach has only one backdrop. Those are things to consider. Time of the day is crucial, especially if you live in a very warm place such as Charleston. I like to look at the humidity of the day, the wind, the heat, the air quality. All these aspects influence your session outdoors. If you are working in a studio then you have more control of the space. Connection is important for my work. I like to get to know my client. It is after all their moment, and I want to listen and hear their stories while I work with them. Lastly, production, which is when I retouch the work and return it to the client. In this portion is important for me to set expectations on the return time since the very first time we meet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught.
