FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is very transparent. I provide costs, service details, and Terms of Service. A resume makeover is $90. If the client takes the time to write a review, the price is $85. This price includes a phone consultation, formatting, editing, proofreading, and copy editing. I will also send you a redline copy (showing all changes made) and both a Word Document and a PDF version of the final resume. For a review of other WRITTEN DOCUMENTS, the price will depend on the number of pages. The hourly rate is $25/hour (5-10 pages per hour), which includes editing, copy editing, and proofreading.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Welcome aboard! We're exited to work with you and meet your needs. First, Carmel will talk with you to ensure we clearly understand what your needs are. She will then communicate this information to one of our amazing team-members who is best suited for your job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for almost five years as the Assistant Editor for the United States Attorneys' Bulletin, published by the Executive Office for United States Attorneys within the United States Department of Justice. My work day in and day out consisted of editing, copy editing, and proofreading. I also attend effective writing webinars and often do independent research on the rules of editing in my spare time.
