Within a week of my request to Thumbtack, Fernando Reyes & his son removed 2 old through the wall air conditioners and installed new replacements. It required carrying heavy items up and down a steep staircase as well as modification of the existing holes in the wall since the new air conditioners were slightly larger. Fernando is prompt, courteous, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very hard working. His pricing on this project was fair, especially considering that he made an extra trip to asses the situation and to help me make a final decision on which air conditioners to buy . He went the extra mile to make sure the air conditioners were installed correctly and with the proper tilt for draining condensation to the exterior. When he finished the project, he cleaned the area and hauled off all of the packaging. I have asked him to bid on some deck repair work and would highly recommend him for projects that require construction knowledge, problem solving and the skill to implement the solution.

WARNING: YOUR ENTIRE PROJECT WILL BE RUINED!! Block this wanna-be handyman*do not accept his happy handshake routine! Allow YOUR Attorney to write up a contract for him to sign * stay close on site or he wont be there* this 'one man show' will deliberately delay your project to get more money; then go do work elsewhere* My original, beautiful hardwood floors were left a disaster!!! He intentionally did a 5-min mop and shine job. It was confirmed by my Real Estate Broker and two licensed Contractors that Fernando Reyes never sanded or refinished my floors!! He is dishonest, has no self-respect and was not professional enough to refund me $1800 for it least the undone the floors!!! If he does return my $1800, I will let you know. ThumbTack, please remove him from your site!! By the way, Fernando Reyes and the girlfriend can improve in the future by hitting the mouthwash bottles to cover the beer smells and stop smoking stuff on the work sites; which lead to all the above!!
