Jenny is an excellent interior design. She listened to what I wanted and made it even better than I could imagine.Feb 25, 2019Verified
Jenny was the interior decorator for Leola & Simone Boutique in Fort Mill, SC. She handled everything from top to bottom, including ordering items, handeling placement, picking finishes and plans. This was her first time desiging a store, and everyone was OVERWHELMED by her keen eye and sassy style that fit our upscale boutique. She had unexpected back surgery during our project and still managed to "hobble" to the design site for final placement suggestions. She is personable, goes above and beyond, affordable and a great option for any project!Oct 7, 2015LJC Interiors's reply
Danielle, I have loved working on your project and being introduced to you. I can't wait for the opening. It is all coming together wonderfully. Thank you for such a nice review. I truly appreciate it.
Jenny did an amazing job helping me design/furnish/decorate my new home! She took the time to get to know my taste and then picked pieces I absolutely loved but would have never thought to pick out myself. She is incredibly talented and I am going to continue to use her for future projects! Would highly recommend her:)Sep 1, 2019VerifiedLJC Interiors's reply
Thank you Marcy. It has been a pleasure working with you. It has been such a fun project and I consider a great friend!
Jenny's knowledge and confidence was reassuring when selecting interior paint colors for our home. Excited about seeing the outcome!Oct 22, 2018Verified
Jenny has such amazing taste but she always made sure my style was incorporated in the design. She thinks outside of the box and always keeps the budget in mind. Thank you Jenny for making my house a home!Mar 21, 2017Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My typical process is to meet in person for a complimentary consultation to learn more about the project and see the space. This generally can take between 1.5 to 2.0 hours depending on the scope of the project. I like to take a tour of your home or commercial space, so I can get a better idea of overall style and layout of the entire/building. Afterwards we sit down and I have the customer explain to me their wants or needs and see how they feel they can utilize me best. Then a game of 20 questions comes, this is when I ask lots of questions to get as many details possible from you. I will then explain if hired how the design process from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a masters and bachelors degree in Architecture. I am LEED certified, which means I am licensed to work on "Green Building projects."
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I began working as a administrative assistant at a commercial architectural and interior design firm in college. I worked around all of this creativity and knew I needed to be part of it somewhat. My company paid for me to get my degree in architecture but not interior design. Both in school and on the job, I played the role as an interior designer that's when I knew it was my calling!
