About
First Class Heating & Air is a locally owned HVAC contractor based in Greenville, South Carolina. We install, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems for homeowners and businesses across Greenville and Spartanburg counties, including Greer, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Taylors, Fountain Inn, Spartanburg, Duncan, Boiling Springs, Powdersville, Easley, and Travelers Rest.
What we work on: central air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, ductless mini-splits, tank and tankless water heaters, standby generators, ductwork, and indoor air quality equipment. We also handle commercial HVAC for restaurants, offices, retail spaces, and warehouses, plus HVAC design and installation for new construction.
How we price: flat rate, quoted before any work starts, with no overtime charge for nights, weekends, or holidays. Estimates on replacement systems are free and most go out within two hours of the visit. If another company has already quoted you, we will give you a free second opinion.

Every technician is background checked. Angi Super ServiceAward winner in 2025, and BusinessRate named us HVAC Contractor of the Year for 2025.
Warranty and plans: every new system includes a 3-year First Class labor warranty on top of the manufacturer parts warranty, with 5-year and 10-year extended labor coverage available. Our Total Comfort Membership is $197 a year and covers seasonal tune-ups, priority scheduling, and repair discounts. Financing is available, including 0% on qualifying systems.

My A/C condenser died in July. When I began requesting recommendations and quotes from contractors on different systems, I found that I might not be able to afford replacing my old system at all. I spoke to 4 contractors and 2 online vendors. Finally found First Class Home Services. Tommy Goldberg sent me his technician Cameron Soper. Cameron is not a salesman. He knew I was having financial problems and did his very best to help. They got me a better unit than I had hoped for, a better price, and arranged financing that I could afford. Also, they don't have a surcharge on their financing like I found with some contractors. It was a one-day installation and Mr. Goldberg was available by phone and e-mail to answer all my questions and walk me through the whole process (day, night and weekend). Truly amazing service!

Cam and his team provided outstanding service from start to finish. They conducted a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of our entire home to ensure the new system was perfectly tailored to our current needs. They installed a long-overdue dual-zone system, which immediately lowered the upstairs temperature by 10 degreesa massive improvement over our old system, which simply could not handle the load. I highly recommend their services for any HVAC or heating and cooling needs.
