- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Minimum of $50/hour Minimum meeting of one hour. VERY IMPORTANT: I never meet a student alone. If we are meeting at your home, there must be another person there or else we meet in a public setting (library, coffeehouse, etc.).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to speak to my customers on the phone to diagnose how much they struggle with math. If the customer is convinced they will need more than one hour per session I like to tell them "let's play our first meeting by ear, it could be two hours and it could only be one." Because I find that with math often times students just need one concept to be explained in a way they understand and then they can begin to master everything else on their own.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Tutoring for almost 10 years now. Elementary Algebra all the way to Calculus 2 and Statistics.
