- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We see entirely too many small business owners going about the web in totally the wrong way. Most of the clients we meet were looking for the cheapest way to get online and start making money. They view the web as some secret untapped marketplace that is just waiting for them to open up shop. In all we do we stress education and training, we want our business owners to know how to correctly evaluate and establish their online presence. So, we began building websites to help local area business owners get a true web solution which they could trust and depend on to grow their brand online.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When clients come to use for quotes or estimates we make each one sit though an initial one hour session. During this time we ask several questions about past failures and success rates, ways they were measured, and the purpose and goal of the website going forward. Once a client is ready to work with us, we make sure they have spoken with at least two other firms. Doing this allows you to see several different approaches and can better determine the correct fit for a lasting and meaningful relationship. At the end of the day, your web team is crucial to your online success and should be your trusted adviser.
