I hired Premier Cleaning Solutions (PCS) to clean a townhouse I recently moved out of. I was not in attendance during the cleaning. I allowed PCS entry using a keylock while I was away. Overall, PCS cleaned the property in an average fashion. However, the property had two toilets with toilet bowl ring. After cleaning the property, PCS texted me photos of the property. The photos of 2 toilet bowls still had rings within them. I called the lady with PCS that cleaned the property and asked why there were still rings inside the toilets. She informed me that she cleans numerous properties and that sometimes toilet bowl rings cannot be removed. I was in disbelief because I have used numerous other cleaning services in the past that were able to remove such toilet bowl rings with no issues.
While talking with her on the phone, I quickly Googled toilet bowl cleaning solutions and came across recommendations such as using baking soda, vinegar and pumice stone. I mentioned these solutions to her and informed her that I would try to remove the rings when I returned to the property. I also mentioned that if I removed the rings, this would reflect in my review comments and ratings.
Sure enough, I was able to remove the toilet bowl ring using vinegar, baking soda and a pumice stone after Premier Cleaning Solutions told me they couldn’t.
There’s also a small issue with how they cleaned the refrigerator. Despite the cleaning, there was residue on the glass components of the refrigerator shelve. Again, she mentioned that she was unable to remove the residue. I informed her that she needed to remove the shelves from the refrigerator first, then remove the glass portions prior to cleaning. Again, this was a phone discussion after she finished cleaning and I’m assuming she was already out of the property. Again, I was not in the property at the time of the cleaning…I wish I was.
Again, I recently moved out of the townhouse and hired Premier Cleaning Solutions to clean the property to satisfy my landlord. I was expecting PCS to adequately clean the townhouse without me having to return to the property and clean. I am not a professional cleaner, but I was able to remove the toilet bowl rings and residue in the refrigerator after the lady told me she couldn’t. However, I didn’t have a lot time and that’s why I was willing to pay PCS to clean the property. In the future, I recommend PCS bring baking soda, vinegar and pumice stone in the event toilets have tough rings. I also recommend they remove shelves out of the refrigerator to ensure adequately cleaning. Please consider that paying customers expect exceptional service. It’s a bit irritating to pay for a cleaning service and end up having to clean yourself.
